Regular Check-Ups:

Your doctor will see your newborn in the hospital within 24 hours of birth.

In your child’s first year – monthly visits.

Second year – every three months.

Once a year thereafter.

We recommend calling to schedule your check-up at least 4 weeks in advance.
Sick Visits:

Roxbury Pediatrics can always schedule same day sick visits during office hours.

We are open on Saturday mornings for sick visits only.
Vaccinations:

We provide vaccinations of infants, school aged children and adolescents.

We are flexible in the vaccination schedule, and will always spend time counseling families on the importance and safety of vaccines.

Roxbury Pediatrics will not care for families who refuse all vaccinations.

We are flexible in the vaccination schedule, and will always spend time counseling families on the importance of childhood vaccines.
Financial policies:

We value your time and expect you to value ours. Any appointment missed or cancelled without 24 hours notice will be subject to a $50 missed appointment fee.

We will bill your insurance carrier for all covered services if you are covered by a plan that we contract with as participating providers. You are required to pay for all co-payments at the time of your visit. We are currently contracted providers with Anthem Blue Cross PPO, Blue Shield PPO, Cigna PPO, and Aetna PPO.

For patients with no insurance coverage or with insurance where we are not a contracted provider, payment is due at time of service. We accept cash, checks, Visa and MasterCard. If we are NOT a contracted provider, but submit claims electronically to your insurance provider as a courtesy, we will NOT accept their discounted rates.

After the insurance company has processed the claim (such as unmet deductibles, co-insurance, or non-covered services), we will send a bill for the balance. Payment is due upon receipt. Outstanding balances not paid within 60 days are subject to a $10.00 rebilling fee.

We are NOT providers of United Healthcare, Healthnet, Blue Cross EPO, or any HMO plans.

IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE PATIENT TO NOTIFY OUR OFFICE OF ANY CHANGE IN INSURANCE, MAILING ADDRESS, OR CONTACT INFORMATION.
School Forms Policy:

You may mail or fax any forms that you need filled out for schools, camps, daycare.

There is a $10 charge for forms filled out by the doctor or nurse.

There is a 1 week turn around time for forms. Please send your forms in early as we get many requests before school starts.

If you need a form completed urgently, there is a $20 fee for a 24 hour turn around time.

If your school form does not require a doctor's signature, you can request vaccine information from our office staff and fill in school forms yourself.

Any school forms brought in at the time of a Well Child Check-up can be filled out at the time of your visit with no charge.
